  Establishing Microsoft Exchange Internet Services

Mike Gahrns, Project Manager
Internet Standards are an important aspect of today's e-mail systems. This session gives an overview of the IMAP and POP mail protocols, contrasting their features, explaining how they are implemented in Exchange Server, and how the actual protocol commands look on the wire. The session also demonstrates how to set up Microsoft Exchange Server's POP3, IMAP4, NNTP, LDAP and SMTP services to work with various popular Internet messaging clients. In addition to server configuration, common client configuration options for Outlook Express are covered.
